Neuropsychological Testing, Therapy & Support

The Morris Center’s pediatric psychology services are designed to support students with learning differences as part of our cohesive, transdisciplinary approach. Services are customized to each client.

Here’s how our psychologists can help:

Understanding Each Individual
Expert Assessment– We conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to identify learning disabilities, their underlying causes, and any co-occurring challenges. Our evaluations may involve standardized tests, interviews, and observations. This empowers us to create a personalized roadmap for success.
Differential diagnosis– This allows the distinguish learning disabilities from other factors that might be impacting learning, such as intellectual disability, sensory impairments, or motivational issues.

Individualized therapies
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)– Equipping clients with tools to manage negative emotions and self-doubt often associated with learning challenges.
Social-emotional support– Individual or group therapy to foster social skills development, self-advocacy, and effective coping mechanisms for navigating various environments.
